This Bio-safety Level II Incubator has a variety of laboratory sizes. They range from 450 to 1000 Sq Ft and come equipped with biological safety cabinets, fume hoods, Ultrapure DI water, vacuum, gas, and sealed floors for radiation work.
Clients have access to, at no additional charge, more than $1 Million of onsite scientific instrumentation and business equipment including: autoclaves, glassware washer and dryer, incubators, centrifuges, shakers, and - 80° freezers, in addition to refrigerators, a freeze dryer, spectrophotometer, image analyzers, plate readers, and real-time PCR.
The Incubator's scientific support services include animal care services at subsidized rates, hazardous waste pickup, facilities and support for radiation work, Type I deionized water, dry ice, lab reviews, classes and training through the University’s Environmental Health and Safety unit.
