Besides the availabliliy of common science equipment, the Incubator has facilities for meetings, small gatherings, and resources for the business needs of the biotech company.
The Incubator has furnished entrepreneurial offices which include high speed internet. Free email accounts and web hosting are provided. The reception desk screens visitors and package delivery. The resident companies share three conference rooms, a kitchen with refrigerator and microwave adjoining a lunchroom with vending machines and coffee service. There is an outside patio for eating and relaxing.
Lobby From the lobby, the hallway leads to labs and offices. Many networking functions in Progress Corporate Park are held here.
Reception desk Guests are greeted by the Incubator receptionist who notifies companies of their arrival so they may be escorted. Access to the facility is restricted.
Conference roomsThree conference rooms are available with built-in LCD projectors, power screens, and dry erase boards. There is also a lunchroom with vending machines and free coffee.
Ceramic art muralThanks to Florida's Art in Public Places program, the Incubator is graced with beautiful scientific ceramic murals and tiles developed by artist Carlos Alves of Miami, Florida. Working with children from nearby Alachua Elementary School, they created murals and floor tiles that reflect scientific forms throughout the Incubator lobby and hallways.
